Yard Waste Removal in Burnaby

I got a call today regarding the removal of some yard waste. Apparently a friends friend did some chainsaw style pruning in the front and back of his property. And now he was left with a lot of yard trimmings debris all over the front and back of his property. His main concern was the front driveway. It was inaccessible in its current state. Due to his vague description of the amount of yard waste I decided to go to his place and give him a free estimate of the cost. He called me around 2:30pm and I got to place near Boundary and Canada Way a little past 3:00pm. Once I got there I took a look at all the stuff. Most of yard trimmings were just oversized branches from fern and other trees. It looked like it would take me over 1 hour to load everything myself so I told him it would be $150. His budget was around $100. I told him the only way I could do it for $100 is if he lent me hand to load everything. He agreed so we started loading! It took us around 40 minutes to load everything into my truck. After loading everything I broke off any branches protruding out of the side of my truck and secured my load. I charged him $100. He also booked me for the next day to remove the yard trimmings from the back of his house. And lastly, I disposed of all the yard waste at the Vancouver South Transfer Station located at 377 West Kent Avenue North in Vancouver.
