I received a call from a client regarding the delivery of some travertine tiles, hardwood tiles and a bath tub from the Vancouver ReStore store located at 69 West 69th Avenue. The hardwood tiles and bath tub had to be delivered to Steveston and the travertine tiles needed to go to Queensborough. I quoted her $80 and set it up for Saturday morning. I got to the ReStore at 10:00am and she arrived a few minutes after. Everything was paid for and ready to go so they quickly brought out all the stuff to my truck. First they loaded the travertine tiles with the help of a forklift then I filled in the space around the travertine tiles with the loose hardwood tiles and finally the bath tub went in last. I properly secured the the travertine and hardwood tiles and bath tub with blankets and straps so nothing would move around while turning or braking. The first stop was Steveston. The traffic was very good, I think it took me less than 30 minutes to get to there. At her town house I helped her to bring the bath tub into her living room and all the hardwood tiles upstairs. After that I followed her to the next location in Queensborough. At that location I gave her a hand to unload all the travertine tiles into her garage. The tiles were too heavy to move in the crate so we had to empty it 1 by 1 then place them back into the crate. She gave me $70 plus an extra $80 for lending a hand to bring the tiles upstairs and into her place.
