The person had purchased some light fixtures from the LightForm store located in Downtown Vancouver on 1060 Homer St. The LightForm store specializes in modern European lighting. They carry floor lamps, table and desk lamps, chandeliers, pendent lights, ceiling lights, wall sconces, bath + mirror lights, outdoor lights, LED and other energy efficient lighting, fans and door bell lights.
Like a lot of people nowadays in Downtown Vancouver he did not have a vehicle and had no way of getting the lighting fixtures to his place. The delivery was very simple. He needed the light fixtures delivered from the LighForm store on 1060 Homer St. to his apartment in Yaletown on Smithe Mews St. We got to LightForm store around 12:00pm. Parking was very easy for a change. They had a lot of open spots available in the front. We walked into the store and showed the front desk staff the invoice. They got the order together and dollied everything to my truck. After quickly loading all the boxes of light fixtures into my truck we headed off to the drop-off location. The traffic was still pretty good at this hour so it only took us around 5 minutes to get there. Once we got to building the concierge buzzed us in and lead us to the the persons room. The person greeted us at the door and we brought everything into his apartment. Normally I only do curbside drop-offs but I was doing this for a friend so we brought everything directly into the guys apartment this time. He paid us $40. Overall the delivery went very smoothly. The pick-up and drop-off distance was very short and the light fixtures themselves were very lightweight making life a lot easier!
