Today I received a phone call from a furniture store in Richmond. They needed me to deliver a bed to a customer’s house in Burnaby near Metrotown. The customer would not be available until after 6:00pm so we setup the job for 5:30pm leaving me 30 minutes or so to get there. I got to the store in Richmond on time at 5:30pm. We loaded the main frame with the build in drawers first and put the headboard on the top with the slats in between. After loading everything into my truck the store gave me the customer’s information and off I went. The traffic was pretty good for most part considering the time of day it was. There was a little bit of congestion on Marine Drive but nothing major. Once I got to the customers house I gave them a hand to bring all the pieces of the bed to their front door. And they paid me $40. Overall the job went smoothly without any problems. I do quite a few deliveries for this furniture company so everything was well organized and straightforward.
