I delivered a mattress and box spring from the Metrotown Sears store located at 4750 Kingsway in Burnaby to a house in East Vancouver on Main Street. The customer was working during the day so we arranged to meet at the Sears store in Metrotown in the evening at 5:00pm. At the Sears store the employees there loaded the mattress and box spring into my truck. After that we headed over to the drop off location in East Vancouver. The customer did not have a vehicle so I gave her a ride. At her house I helped her unload the mattress and box spring into her garage. The total charge for the delivery was $40.

The Urban Brick Delivery in Vancouver

I delivered a queen size mattress and box spring from the Urban Brick store located at 2360 Granville Street in Vancouver to an apartment near the city square. Basically I met the customer at the Urban Brick store at the arranged time. We loaded the mattress and box spring into my truck through the loading bay. Then he guided me to his place. I gave him a ride back to his apartment since he had bused over to the Brick store. He lived on West 12th Avenue and his building didn’t have a loading zone so I had to stupidly park blocking half of the entrance/exit to his underground. Anyways we managed it and I gave him a hand to get the mattress and box spring to the lobby of his building. From the lobby he took care of the rest with the help of his wife. I charged him $40 for the delivery.

Vivo Interiors Sofa Delivery

I delivered a sofa from the Vivo Interiors store located at #1037 88 West Pender Street in Downtown Vancouver to an apartment near Nelson St. and Cardero St. also in Downtown Vancouver. The sofa was ready for pick-up when I arrived at Vivo Interiors. They had it outside leaning against their glass window?!% Anyways I met up with the customer at Vivo and we loaded the sofa into my truck. I followed him to the back lane of his apartment in Downtown where we unloaded it to. His friend and him took it from there. He paid me $40 for the delivery.

INspiration Furniture Delivery

I delivered a single chair from the INspiration Furniture store located at 1275 West 6th Avenue in Vancouver to an apartment in Downtown Vancouver. The person left my name with INspiration so I could pick-up the chair on their behalf. Everything went smoothly and I delivered the chair to the apartment in Downtown Vancouver. The chair was for an interior design company’s client. I charged them $40 for the delivery.

Ecofitt Delivery

I delivered 2 brand new toilets from the Ecofitt facility located at #105 8620 Glenlyon Parkway in Burnaby to a house in Vancouver. The customer left my name with Ecofitt so I could pick up the order on his behalf. He also arranged for someone to be at the drop-off location to accept the items and pay me. He could not be there because of his work hours. Anyways the delivery went according to plan without any problems. When I arrived at Ecofitt to pick-up the new toilets I simply gave them my name and they verified my info. After signing for the items and loading them into my truck I headed over to the customer’s house in Vancouver. At his house I parked my truck in the back lane and his grand dad opened up the gate for me. I left the 2 toilets and the accessories under the porch so they wouldn’t get wet in the rain. I charged him $40 for the delivery.

EQ3 Delivery in Vancouver

This time I delivered a slatted bed frame from the Granville EQ3 store located at 2301 Granville Street in Vancouver to a house in Kitsilano. EQ3 is a popular store that focuses on modern furniture with a wide variety of choices of sofas, beds, chairs, dining tables, etc. This delivery was pretty straight forward and went extremely smoothly. I met the customer at the EQ3 store at the agreed time. We loaded the slatted bed frame into my truck. Then I headed over to his house in Kits. At his house I gave him a hand to bring the bed frame to the front porch of his house. And lastly I charged him $40 for the delivery.

Jack’s New and Used Delivery

I delivered a window from Jack’s New and Used store located at 4912 Still Creek Avenue in Burnaby to my customers house near Grandview Highway and Boundary Road. He was doing some renovations on his house and urgently needed a new window delivered on short notice. The original window that was suppose to go into his house was delayed due to problems with delivery so he had to quickly improvise as the window installers were already at his house waiting on the window! He purchased a window from Jack’s New and Used store and called me to deliver it to his house. Luckily I was free at that time so I zipped over to Jack’s right away. I got there in less than 30 minutes and picked up the window on his behalf. After securing the window with some straps and protecting it with some moving blankets I headed over to his house in East Vancouver. He lived pretty close so it didn’t take very long to get there. When I got to his place the windows guys were waiting for me. They grabbed the window from my truck and he paid me $40 for the delivery.

Handy Appliance Delivery

I delivered a dishwasher from Handy Appliance Ltd. located at 705 East 17th Avenue in Vancouver to an apartment in Coal Harbour in Downtown Vancouver. When I arrived at the Handy Appliance store around 6:00pm he had just finished purchasing the item. Before loading the dishwasher into my truck the Handy Appliance guy took the dishwasher out of the box to do a final inspection. While inspecting the dishwasher my customer noticed that the dishwasher was not the same model as the one he had purchased. He was very lucky to catch this mistake as most stores don’t usually take brand new items out of the box for inspection. Anyways after sorting out that mishap the Handy Appliance guy loaded the correct dishwasher into my truck and I secured the washer with a strap so it wouldn’t slide around while driving. After that we headed over to his place in Downtown Vancouver. I followed him there. And at his place I gave him a hand to unload the dishwasher onto his dolly. The total charge for the washer delivery from Handy Appliance to his apartment in Downtown Vancouver was $40.

A Neatly Packed Small Move!

During the end of the month I did a small move within Vancouver. It was from the Collingwood neighborhood to the Marpole area. The person did not have too much stuff. They had a small mattress and box spring, a tv, a computer chair and some miscellaneous bags and boxes. Everything went very smoothly. She had lots of helpers helping her move. I charged her $40.

I delivered a sofa from the Nood warehouse located at 8250 Manitoba Street in South Vancouver to a house in East Vancouver. I met the customer at the Nood pick up centre around 11:00am. He was signing the final paper work when I arrived there. At their furniture warehouse the Nood employees located the sofa, brought it out and loaded it into my truck. After that I headed over to his house close to Maple St. and West 33rd Ave in Vancouver. At his house I lent him a hand to unload the sofa into the garage and he paid me $40 for the delivery.
