Cheap Delivery, Small Moves and Junk Removal in Vancouver

I delivered 2 dressers from a furniture store in Richmond to an apartment in the West End on Davie St. The total charge was $40.

I delivered a small love seat and 2 chairs from an apartment near Kwantlen College in Richmond to an apartment in Vancouver near the Killarney Park. Pretty straight forward delivery… At the pick up location they had everything ready to go in the lobby before I showed up. So everything went very quickly and the drive over to the new place only took me around 20 minutes. Rush hour usually starts up around 4/4:30pm so we decided to do it earlier to make things go faster. At the drop off location in Vancouver I gave them a hand to unload the stuff to the loading zone and they took it from there. I charged them $40.

I delivered a bed, mattress and 2 night stands from a furniture store in Richmond to a house in East Vancouver. I charged them $40 for the delivery.

I delivered a bed frame from an apartment in Downtown Vancouver to an apartment near Granville St. and West 4th Ave. (Fairview area.) It was for a UBC student who had recently moved here. She found out about my delivery service through an advertisement I placed on Vancouver Craigslist. She paid me $40.

I delivered some furniture accessories from the 18Karat Store located at 3039 Granville Street in Vancouver to an apartment in Kitsilano. I charged them $40 for the delivery from the 18Karat store.

This time I delivered a small sofa and some tables from The Brick Furniture Store located at 2999 Grandview Highway in Vancouver. I delivered the furniture to an apartment in Downtown for a realtor. I believe it was the Spectrum apartments either on Regiment Square or Citadel Parade. The furniture from The Brick store was used to stage the unit before putting it for sale on MLS. I charged her $40 for the delivery.

*Update: She later sold the unit (only took her a month or so!) and called me again to move the same furniture to her storage place in Downtown Vancouver on Homer St.

Today I delivered a washer from the Costco store located at 9151 Bridgeport Road in Richmond. Just another routine pick-up/drop-off. At the Costco store the Costco employees brought the washer out to my truck and loaded it into my truck as well. And at the drop-off location which was near the Collingwood area in East Vancouver he had lots of man power with him. His friends and him unloaded it from my truck. The total charge for the washer delivery from the Costco Richmond store was $40.

Today I picked up a small 2-piece sectional sofa set from the Inspiration Furniture warehouse located at 8380 Chester St. in South Vancouver and delivered it to an apartment in Downtown Vancouver. It was a very straight forward delivery. The customer called the Inspiration store to let them know that I was picking up the furniture on their behalf. When I got to the Inspiration warehouse they verified my info. and released the furniture to me. They brought out the 2 pieces of furniture by fork lift and carefully loaded them into my truck. I quickly snapped a couple pictures but they didn’t really turn out. Cloudy day and not enough light! Anyways after securing the sectional sofa I zipped over to his place in the West End. The traffic was very good considering how bad the weather was. It only took me 20 minutes to get there! At his place his friend who was suppose to give him a hand was running a little bit late so I lend him a hand to get it into his elevator. They were very light pieces. My delivery charge was $40 but he gave me $60.

I helped transfer some small stuff from a house in East Vancouver to the Public Storage facility located at 2650 Rupert Street in Vancouver. They needed to store their personal belongings in storage because they were leaving the country for a few months. However they did not have a vehicle or any other way to get their stuff to storage. So using my truck we moved everything to the Public Storage place on Rupert St. I charged them a total of $40 for my delivery services!
